Allow the sheet to straighten out before gluing it to the substrate. If the self-adhesive layer does not adhere firmly enough to the substrate (due to the shape memory of the board, the structure of the substrate, etc.), please use a suitable adhesive or self-adhesive double-sided tape, which we have in stock and recommend for perfect fixation.
Leave the self-adhesive magnetic board at room temperature for 24 hours before it is glued to any surface. Even if you cut to size the magnetic board that you bought in bulk, let the cut part "settle" at room temperature for another 24 hours.
Self-adhesive magnetic board is suitable for flat and smooth surfaces. However, PAY ATTENTION to varnished and structured walls and to walls where the painting does not hold perfectly might come loose under the weight of the flexible board. In that case, the board will probably not stick. If you insist on application on a structured or varnished wall, it is necessary to use a suitable adhesive for such surfaces (the provided self-adhesive layer will not be sufficient for this application). The glue needs to be selected depending on the type of substrate, unfortunately we are not able to offer a "standard glue" that could be used for all surfaces. Please note that we do not recommend using the magnetic flexible board on the above-mentioned surfaces.
Recommended accessories: A4 double-sided self-adhesive tape
This is a premium 3M double-sided self-adhesive tape. We recommend gluing the lower and upper edge of the magnetic board with this thin and very strong 3M self-adhesive tape. This prevents the bottom and top edges of the board from coming off due to the shape memory.
We recommend that you use on the self-adhesive magnetic board only magnets recommended by us - see related products below. We guarantee that these magnets will hold on our magnetic boards and will fulfil the function you expect from a magnetic board. We do not recommend ordinary ferrite magnets, they do not stick on self-adhesive magnetic boards.
