Bar magnets
Neodymium rods have a big advantage over other magnets: they are easy to handle and stand on their own. This makes them suitable for frequent use, for example in school lessons or presentations.
Most bar magnets have magnetic poles on circular surfaces. Exceptionally, neodymium bar magnets are magnetized diametrically on the sides. The thickness of these magnets is greater than their diameter. Bar magnets are surface-treated with nickel.
